Profile
While turning in his studies from Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary College to sociology at LSE he developed a deep interest in religious studies. This interest eventually led him to the seminary in Qum, the most renowned centre for Shiite studies where he was absorbed to different branches of Islamic studies. After progressing to the Advanced Seminary level, he was invited to teach at the University of Cambridge, department of Oriental Studies, where he taught for three years before moving to the Islamic College.
Apart from his academic pursuit, he is interested in script writing. He is well known for writing the script for the acclaimed movie and television series St Mary.

- Faraz-o-nasheebe aqlaniyyat. This book is based on the history and meaning of rationality, Persian,2000.

- Shajarehe tuba. This book is based on the life and times of Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet of Islam, Persian 2001 & English 2008.
- Ismailiyyah az gozashteh ta haal, This book is the history, beliefs and modern life of the Ismailis and Druzes, Kazemaini, Persian, 2007.

- Mardan-e Angelus. A television sequel in 18 parts on the story of the Seven Sleepers,shown on Iranian national TV and some other Muslim countries, 1997.
- Mareyam-e muqaddas. A television sequel in 11 parts on the life of the Virgin Mary, 2001.
- Musa. A television sequel on the life of Prophet Moses in 30 parts presently being filmed.
- Rooze Baaraan. A movie screenplay, 2002.
- Blood of God. A screenplay on the tragic event of Karbala. 2007.

- A Critical Analysis of Orientalist Assertions regarding the Inimitability of the Qur’an: Refutations in Modern Scholarship from the Literary Angle; MA dissertation.
