Farsi

The Islamic College is pleased to introduce a Farsi Evening Course for beginners.  The Course is suitable for people who are completely new to the Persian language.

The course will concentrate on developing conversation skills by introducing a wide range of vocabulary and simple grammar.




The students will be taught use of Farsi language for everyday and general communication, such as:

• Greetings
• Shopping
• Eating in Restaurants
• Travelling
• Getting Directions

There will be emphasis on writing skills as students will practise writing simple texts such as letters and postcards.
This course will aid people who intend to travel to Iran for holidays enabling them to become confident in the use of Farsi for everyday communication.
In addition students will learn wide aspects of Iranian culture such as traditional foods n.
This course will be taught by a qualified and experienced lecturer of the Farsi language.

Time: Starting 28 January – 29 April 2010 on Thursdays 6 – 8 pm

Cost: £100.00 (£75.00 for Students)
Note: Upon completing the course you will also receive a certificate of attendance (or achievement if selected assessments are completed) from the Islamic College.
