ICAS Press was established in 1999, as the publication branch of the Islamic College in order to promote Islamic scholarship. The books published by ICAS Press reflect the intellectual vitality of the tutors and scholars who are teaching at the Islamic College.

In recent years, ICAS Press has published award-winning works on Qur’anic and Hadith studies, Islamic law, philosophy, mysticism, theology, ethics, and history. These works are all used on a regular basis as essential readings for specialized courses at academic institutions throughout the world. Similarly, it has also established an academic journal centering on Shi‘a thought.
