Core Modules
The core modules are designed to deepen the academic understanding of Islamic and Western philosophies from a comparative point of view for both the students coming from our BA in Islamic Studies and those with other backgrounds. In addition to exposing the student to an in depth understanding of the main topics in different philosophical domains from the modern and historical viewpoints, it will also look into the philosophical endeavours of thinkers from the West and Islam to assess and compare their epistemological approaches and concerns.
